Before completing a submission to QJCS, the corresponding author must confirm that:

Research Ethics and Participant Protection—where applicable

☐ The name of the approving Research Ethics Committee, Institutional Review Board (IRB), or equivalent authority is clearly stated in the manuscript.

☐ The ethics approval/reference number is provided. If formal ethical approval was not required, the manuscript clearly explains the reason and, where relevant, identifies the applicable institutional or national exemption.

☐ The date of ethical approval is reported where available.

☐ A clear statement confirming that informed consent was obtained from all human participants is included.

☐ For research involving minors or participants unable to provide independent consent, parent/legal guardian consent and participant assent are reported, as appropriate.

☐ Explicit consent for publication has been obtained for any identifiable photographs, videos, clinical images, case details, quotations, or other information that could reveal a participant's identity.

☐ For clinical trials or other studies requiring prospective registration, the registry name, registration number, and registration date are provided.

☐ Research involving human participants has been conducted in accordance with applicable institutional, national, and international ethical standards, including the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki where relevant.

☐ Research involving animals includes the name of the approving animal ethics committee, approval/reference number, and confirmation that applicable animal-welfare standards and reporting guidelines were followed.

☐ The manuscript clearly identifies any ethical limitations, exemptions, retrospective approvals, or circumstances in which consent or formal ethics approval was waived, together with an appropriate justification.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright in articles published by the Qubahan Journal of Coaching and Sports Sciences (QJCS).

Copyright is not transferred to QJCS. By publishing with the journal, authors grant QJCS the non-exclusive right of first publication and permission to publish, distribute, preserve, archive, and identify the article as the Version of Record.

Published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).
