EDITORIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Editors must evaluate manuscripts according to:

• Ethical compliance
• Contribution to coaching and sports sciences
Editorial decisions must not be influenced by nationality, institutional affiliation, ethnicity, religion, gender, personal relationships, financial considerations, or other irrelevant characteristics.
Editors must:
• Preserve confidentiality
• Declare conflicts of interest
• Assign qualified reviewers
• Evaluate reviewer reports critically
• Investigate credible ethical concerns
• Avoid coercive citation
• Protect editorial independence
• Take appropriate post-publication action
REVIEWER RESPONSIBILITIES
CONFIDENTIALITY
Reviewers must treat manuscripts as confidential.
OBJECTIVITY
Reviews must focus on scholarly content rather than authors personally.
CONFLICTS OF INTEREST
Reviewers must decline assignments where impartiality may be compromised.
CONSTRUCTIVE REVIEW
Comments should be clear, specific, evidence-based, and useful.
CITATION ETHICS
Reviewers must not demand unnecessary citations to their own work.
MISUSE OF INFORMATION
Unpublished information obtained through peer review must not be used for personal or professional advantage.
PROMPTNESS
Reviewers unable to complete a review should promptly inform the editor.
GENERATIVE AI
Reviewers must not upload confidential manuscript content into third-party AI systems where confidentiality may be compromised.
