INTERNAL PRESERVATION

The publisher maintains backups of:

• Open Journal Systems database
• Article files
• Supplementary files
• Article metadata
• Journal configuration
• Publishing records

PERSISTENT IDENTIFIERS

Published QJCS articles are assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), where applicable.

INDEPENDENT PRESERVATION

QJCS seeks to maintain or establish independent long-term preservation arrangements supporting continued access if:

• The journal website becomes unavailable
• Technical infrastructure fails
• Hosting changes
• Publication ceases

TRANSPARENCY

QJCS identifies a preservation service as an active partner only where participation and content deposit can be verified.

Archived materials should preserve:

• Version of Record
• Metadata
• DOI information
• Licensing information
• Corrections
• Retractions
• Expressions of Concern
